What is Verb?
"Verb" is an action word or a "doing" word that shows what a person, animal, or thing is doing.
These are fundamental words that describe actions such as run, jump, sing, eat, read, and sleep.

Identifying verbs in a sentence:To find the verb in a sentence, ask yourself: "What is the person, animal, or thing doing?" The answer will be the verb. Example:- Sentence: The cat sleeps on the mat.
- Question: What is the cat doing?
- Answer: The cat is sleeping.
How to use verbs in a sentence:The verb usually comes right after the person or thing doing the action. Examples:
- The dog runs.
- The boy sings a song.
- We play football.
- She eats an apple.
- I read a book.
